  • Conduct assessments of adults with complex neurological and psychiatric disorders.
  • Perform traumatic brain injury (TBI) screenings to assess patients' mental health conditions.
  • Perform psychological assessments of related psychological factors affecting common medical disorders.
  • Interpret the effectiveness of therapeutic efforts to identify necessity for changes in treatment.
  • Provide neuropsychological intervention services to improve the cognitive and neurobehavioral effects of neurological disorders.
  • Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations on adult patients to determine proper treatment.
  • Evaluate potential referral sources to ensure patient receives appropriate care based on diagnosis of symptoms.
  • Formulate accurate diagnostic impressions, prognosis, and treatment plans consistent with established criteria.
  • Oversee the interpretation of a wide variety of psychological diagnostic instruments.
  • Provide clinical guidance for the selection of patients and procedures.
  • Provide psychological evaluations and consultation to patients receiving care from other medical specialties.
  • Provide training to others including residents and psychology technicians in intervention and assessment methods in the specialized area of neuropsychology.
  • Develop technical guidelines for clinic to ensure care is provided in accordance with professional standards.
  • Consult on treatment plans for other medical personnel such as psychiatrists, neurologists, and/or neurosurgeons.
  • Advise patients on the diagnosis and treatment of neuropsychological disorders.
