Respond to questions from landowners or the general public about wetland restoration programs or plans
Assist in the preparation of management plans for restored areas
Use GPS to map and delineate areas of proposed management action
Use automated databases to collect and store data
Write field reports summarizing biological observations
Conduct vegetation studies by identifying and mapping plants in a given area
Adapt standardized protocols for use in vegetation monitoring surveys
Carry out vegetation studies to determine the manner and extent to which wildlife populations are affected by management activities
Control invasive plant species using herbicides or other methods
Erect predator exclosures to protect nesting birds
Capture waterfowl and other wildlife species for banding or other scientific tracking purposes
Carry out wildlife population studies to determine the manner and extent to which wildlife populations are affected by management activities
Collect standard habitat data ( e.g. temperature , precipitation , stream flow , snow depth , wind speed , humidity , etc. ) for inclusion in biological reports
Conduct wildlife and or waterfowl censuses using specific sight and sound sampling techniques
