G5 : Do possess an equivalent combination of post-high school education and specialized experience as listed above ?
To calculate the combination of education and experience , determine the amount of experience you have as a percentage of the experience required for the grade level .
Then determine the amount of education you have as a percentage of the education required for the grade level .
Only education in excess of the amount required for the next lower grade level is qualifying .
Add the two percentages ; the total percentage must equal at least 100 % to qualify for the grade level .
Performing a range of diagnostic support duties , preparing patients for tests , exams and treatments .
Experience checking and recording stool guiacs .
Properly prepares oxygen dependant patients for transport to procedures .
Experience performing transport functions .
Utilizes equipment in a safe manner .
Communicate in writing in a medical setting .
Communicate orally in a medical setting .
Respond to patient care needs in a timely manner .
Handling issues or complaints .
Listen to patient and family feedback .
Maintain security or confidentiality of records , equipment , and computer access .
Maintains client patient privacy .
Reports unsafe equipment and working conditions to appropriate individual .
